On August 12, 2019 Mary Innes of Leduc, formerly of Alsike, AB, passed away at the age of 96 years.
Mary is survived by daughters, Dianne (Jack) Penner, Linda (Paul) Wiggins; son, Keith (Shelly); granddaughters, Corinna Gunnarson, Stacey (John) Haggerty, Jennifer (Vill) Van Der Merwe and Stephanie Innes; great-grandchildren, Kayla Gunnarson, Kennedy and Braydon Haggerty. Mary was predeceased by her husband Ron, great-grandchild Dustin Gunnarson, brothers John Hakstol and Edward Hakstol and her parents John and Anna Hakstol.
Public viewing will take place Friday, August 23, 2019 from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. at Serenity Funeral Service Chapel, 4702 – 51 Avenue, Leduc, AB. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, August 24, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Michael’s Catholic Church, 5105 – 45A Street, Leduc, AB with Father Silvichan Dominic as Celebrant. Interment will follow in St. Charles Catholic Cemetery in Warburg, AB.
If friends so wish, donations in memory of Mary may be made to the St. Charles Catholic Cemetery, Box 131, Warburg, AB T0C 2T0.
