Obituary for
Mary Anne Dolman (Sutherland)
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Mary Anne Dolman (78 years), our mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. Mary Anne took her last breath peacefully at Maison McCulloch Hospice on the morning of August 4, 2019, surrounded by family members after a long and courageous battle with her cancer. Mary Anne (nee Sutherland) is survived by four of her nine siblings, June McIntyre (Bruce), Patty Mulford (Bruce), Heather Sutherland and Sylvia Brousseau. Mary Anne leaves behind her children Kathleen, son Greg (Eileen) and son Wayne (Monique). She will be sadly missed by her grandchildren, George (Jaimie), Keith (Ashley), Ivy (Andy), David, Jennifer, James (Katelynn) and Rory as well as her great-grandchildren Charlotte, Addison, Brooks, Cooper, Walker and Gryphon. Mary Anne’s business success led her north to proudly own and operate Fox Lake Lodge and Spanish River Outfitters, where family & friends gather and memories are made. She was such an amazing woman and grace to be reckoned with! A special thank you to nurse Joanne for her dedication for caring for Mary Anne at her home at the lodge and driving through the roughest of weather to tend to her. Also, thank you to the wonderful staff at the Levack IDA Pharmacy for their support and kindness in helping us care for Mary Anne while she was home. Tremendous appreciation and gratitude goes out to Doctor Linda Tenhunen, the Shared Care Team and Staff at Maison McCulloch Hospice for their support, kindness and wonderful care during Mary Anne’s journey. A visitation and service will be held at the Cooperative Funeral Home, 4691 R. R. 15, Chelmsford, Ontario on Saturday, August 10, 2019 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Donations (by cheque or online) to Maison McCulloch Hospice is greatly appreciated.
