Obituary of Margaret Crawford Young Riddell Coulter
COULTER, Margaret Crawford Young Riddell – Age 85 of Bridgewater, passed away Tuesday August 27, 2019 in South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater. Born April 15, 1934 in Coatbridge, Scotland, she was the daughter of Robert and Margaret (Riddell) Donaldson.
She is survived by sons, Donald (Karen) Coulter, Bridgewater; Douglas Coulter, Yellowknife; grandson, Isaac Coulter, Yellowknife; brother, Adam Donaldson, Kingston; many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband of 37 years, Hugh Coulter and brother, William Donaldson. Margaret worked as a seamstress for Rofihe’s Mens Wear and the Bridgewater Police Service. She enjoyed gardening each summer and spending time with family and friends. Cremation has taken place.
A public graveside service will be 11 a.m., Thursday, September 5, 2019 in Brookside Cemetery, Bridgewater. Rev. Willis Ott officiating. A reception will follow in Sweeny’s Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations in Margaret’s memory may be made to the Local VON, Bridgewater, the Palliative Care Unit of South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater or the Canadian Cancer Society. Arrangements entrusted to Sweeny’s Funeral Home, 35 York Street, Bridgewater.
