Menge-Faragalli, Margaret (nee Joo)
Of Fonthill passed away peacefully with her family by her side at Shorthills Retirement Home on Thursday, August 22, 2019 in her 95th year. She will be sadly missed by her daughter Margaret Dekker (Gerrit), Fonthill; her son Jim Faragalli (Patty), Port Dalhousie; her daughter-in-law Jeannette Faragalli, Welland; her stepson Peter Menge (Carol), Welland; her brother Julius Joe, Prescott; her sisters-in-law Margaret Joe, Sarnia; Dora Neudorf (Peter), St. Catherines; Rose Chapman, Welland; and brother-in-law Domenic Faragalli, Fonthill.
She will always be loved and remembered by her grandchildren Petra, Rob, Tina, David, Brian, Allin and Jaimie and nine beautiful great grandchildren. Margaret enjoyed many years on the bowling league in Welland and playing cards and word games with friends and family.
Predeceased by her husbands Peter Faragalli and Lawrence Menge, her parents Joseph and Anna Joo, three sons Peter, Joseph and Albert Faragalli and brothers Frank, Joseph and Louis Joe.
As per her wishes, cremation has taken place. An interment will be held on Wednesday, September 4, 2019 at Hillside Cemetery, Canboro Road, Ridgeville at 11:00 am followed by a Celebration of Life at the Fonthill Royal Canadian Legion, Hwy 20 beginning 11:30am. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hospice Niagara, St. Catharines or Pelham Cares, Fonthill. Online condolences may be shared at www.pedlarfuneralhome.ca
