Lorraine Dirk of Medicine Hat, passed away on Sunday, August 4th, 2019 at the age of 85 years. She leaves behind to cherish her memory her son, Keith Dirk; daughters, Nancy (Bruce) Vaessen and Peggy (Bill) Stewart; 13 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren; and siblings, Eileen Bracconier, Phyllis (John) Lanz, Jimmie Rath, and Kathleen (Bob) Fuller. Lorraine was predeceased by her parents, Jacob and Katherine Rath; son, Roger Dirk; daughter, Gloria Blaquiere; and two brothers. A private family graveside will be held at SAAMIS PRAIRIE VIEW CEMETERY. Donations in Lorraine’s memory may be made to St. Joseph’s Home Carmel Hospice, 156 – 3rd Street NE, Medicine Hat, Alberta, T1A 5M1.
