Lionel Hebert
1944-2019
CANISTO, NB – Lionel Hebert 74, of Canisto,
NB passed away peacefully at the Stella Maris Hospital,
Ste-Anne-de-Kent on Saturday, August 17, 2019. Born in
Claire-Fontaine, he was the son of the late William Hebert and late
Jeanne (Daigle) Hebert. Before retiring, he was a fisherman
and woodsman. In his spare time, Lionel enjoyed trout
fishing and helping his family.
Lionel will be sadly missed by his daughter, Lea Martin
(Normand) of Acadieville and his grandson, Dillon
Hebert.
He is also survived by two sisters, Odile Doucet (Germain),
Lina Doucet (Alcide) both of St. Charles; two brothers, Zoël
Hebert (Emélia) of St. Charles, Louis-Emile Hebert
(Bernadette) of Comeau Road, St. Louis and many nieces and
nephews.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by one sister, Anita
and two brothers, Jille Hebert (Délina) and
Gérard Hebert.
Visitation will be held at Thompson Memorial Home,
Saint-Louis-de-Kent on Tuesday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm, Wednesday at
9:00 am until departure for the funeral. A Funeral Mass will
be celebrated on Wednesday, August 21, 2019 at 11:00 am, St. Louis des
Français Roman Catholic Church,
Saint-Louis-de-Kent. Arrangements are in care of
Thompson’s Funeral Home, Richibucto (523-4252).
