It is with heavy hearts and great sadness that the family announces June’s peaceful passing on August 28, 2019 at Falconbridge Extendicare at the age of 83. She was born in Falconbridge on Jan. 2, 1936 to Harriet and Angus McDonald (both predeceased). June was married for 55 years to the love of her life, Bill Palmaruk (predeceased). Beloved mother of Dean (Kathy), Lynn (Mike Zula), Nick (predeceased), Jani (Barry Borton), Tammi (Will Smith) and Jodi (predeceased). Loving Gramma to Julie and Shawn Palmaruk, Jeremy (Cassie) Zula, Steven (Missy) Zula, Michelle Blake, Katie (Grant Garland), Nick Borton, and Brittany (Digger) and Stephanie (Jarvis) Borton. Special Great-Gramma to Lily and Titon Zula, Caleb and Logan Blake, Haylee Palmaruk and Grayson Wyman. Loving sister of Francis, Brian, Elaine, Gus and predeceased by Jack, Emerson and Earl. Fondly remembered by sister-in-law Pearl Accardo and family and many nieces, nephews and godchildren. The family wishes to thank the staff at Falconbridge Extendicare (4th Floor) for their excellent care and compassion.
