June Annie Roberts Hutton Wednesday August 7th 2019

June Roberts 1926 – 2019
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dear mother June Annie Roberts (nee Hutton) on August 7, 2019. June passed away peacefully in her sleep at Brantford General Hospital.
Loving daughter to Clare Avis Baird and Wyndham Bell Hutton, June was predeceased by her husband of 47 years Henry (Harry) William Roberts and daughter Wendy Derbyshire (Brantford). June is survived by sons Bruce (Toronto) and Ron (who provided such loving care for her) (Paris), daughter Carol (Markdale), three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Her warm smile and caring presence will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
June graduated from the Toronto General Hospital School for Nurses in 1948 and worked as an RN at Willett Hospital in Paris. June became a flight attendant with Trans Canada Airlines, where on a flight to NYC she met and later married Harry in 1950. When Harry was transferred to Calgary a few years later, June worked as an OR nurse at Sick Kids and Foothills Memorial Hospital before returning to Ontario in 1970. We will forever remember her passion for gardening, her prize-winning orchids, and her patience and skill finishing the toughest puzzles and crosswords.
At June’s request, there will be no funeral service. Interment at Paris Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to your local charity in June’s memory.”
