Obituary of Joshua Lee “Josh” Sheaves
Age 35 of St. Croix, Hants Co., passed away in the Halifax Infirmary Site, QEII on Wednesday, May 15, 2019. Josh was born March 13, 1984 in Dartmouth and was the son of Bernard “Bernie” Brothers and the late Pamela Sheaves.
Josh was an avid outdoorsperson. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, nature walks and especially revving his Buell Blast Harley-Davidson. Josh worked for Dexter Construction Municipal Group for 10 years as a concrete finisher which he took great pride in. Josh recently joined Omega Formwork Inc. and was excited to start this new adventure.
Josh will be sadly missed by his wife, Carla; father, Bernie; his family, friends and fur baby, Bud.
Arrangements have been entrusted to DeMont Family Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 419 Albert St., Windsor (902-798-8317), where a funeral service will be held Thursday, May 23 at 2 p.m., Rev. Bill Gibson officiating. A reception will immediately follow in the funeral home’s Elmcroft Reception Centre. Private interment will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Josh may be made to Bikers Down Society by visiting www.bikersdown.com.
