Joseph Charles Vincent June 7 1941 July 31 2019

Joseph Charles Vincent
June 7, 1941 – July 31, 2019
Charlie passed away peacefully on July 31, 2019 at Prince Edward County Memorial Hospital, with Dorothy, his wife of 43 years, at his side.Fondly remembered by his brothers Hal (Sherree) and Steven, sister-in-law Wilma, and his nieces and nephews (Sean, Kelly, Brian, Leanne, James, Dorothy, Ruth and Alan) and their families, and by his many friends and colleagues in the County and in Toronto. Charlie was born in Picton and moved to Toronto after attending the University of Western Ontario. Although he spent his entire career on Bay Street as a Chartered Accountant at Ernst & Young, he always planned to return to the County, which he did when he retired in 2005 and he and Dorothy settled in Milford. He was active, in his retirement, in a number of County charities and organizations as well as in his church.
A service of remembrance will be held at South Bay United Church on Tuesday, August 6th with visitation from 10:00 to 11:00 and the service at 11:00 a.m. Everyone is invited to stay for lunch and fellowship afterwards.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to South Bay United Church or to the Prince Edward County Memorial Hospital Foundation.

  1. So sorry to hear about Charlie, I can’t imagine how it is to lose a partner after all those years together. Be strong for the next chapter. I heard you plan on coming to Florida again sounds like a great idea. We will be looking forward to seeing you. Again our deepest sympathies.
