Jean MacInnes
The death of Jean MacInnes of Dalhousie occurred August 19, 2019 at the Campbellton Regional Hospital at the age of 97. Born in Eel River Crossing, she was the daughter of the late Howard and Olive Sansom.
Jean had a passion for music and was actively involved in St Johns United Church. She was the organist and directed choirs for over 60 years.
Due to the dedication of the care givers, family, and friends she remained at her long time home until her last days.
Jean very much enjoyed family occasions, dinners, reading, walks, and had a love for her many furry companions. She will be sadly missed.
Jean is survived by her children Jane Hengst (Mark) of Point La Nim and Dana of Fredericton; grandchildren Sarah, Mathew and Emma as well as her 2 great grandchildren Iris and Robyn. She was predeceased by her husband George; daughter Catherine Anne and brother Ritchie.
Her funeral will be held at St. John’s United Church, Dalhousie in September with time and date to be announced. For those wishing, donations in memory of Jean to the RCSPCA or Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family. Funeral arrangements are in the care of MacMillan’s Funeral Home, Black Point.
