1984-2019
Jason Scott Irving – age 34, of Waterville, formerly of North
Alton, passed away on Sunday, August 25, 2019 in the Valley Regional
Hospital, Kentville. Born in Wolfville, he was the son of Ron Irving,
New Minas and Eileen (Horton) and James Haynes, North Alton. Jason had
been employed with Eden Valley Farms and worked with Dave Huntley in
the flooring business. He was a loving father to his three daughters,
Zerria Irving, Jaylynn Irving, both of Saint John, NB; Alyssa Irving,
Cambridge, who he thought the world of. He is also survived by
siblings, Lynn (Armen) Yeghiaian, Markham, ON; Jenn Irving, Coldbrook;
Liz (Eirik) Larsen, Williamswood; Heather (Steve) Howard, Waterville;
Tonya Shelby and Tyler Shelby, both of Markham; Terri Lynn (Shannon)
Tapia, Marietta, Georgia; Jodi (Jason) Thibeault, Minneapolis,
Minnesota; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and extended
family. He was predeceased by maternal grandparents, Lester and Ivey
Horton; paternal grandparents, Richard and Dorothy Irving. Cremation
has taken place and there will be no visitation, by request. A
celebration of life will take place at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, September
3, 2019 in the White Family Funeral Home, Kentville. Burial will take
place in the Baxter’s Harbour Cemetery. Donations in memory
may be made to the IWK Health Centre Foundation. Funeral arrangements
have been entrusted to the White Family Funeral Home and Cremation
Services, Kentville.
