A beautiful soul left our world on August 9th – Irene, whose very name means peace … quietly leaving us after a long and fulfilled life. She was a wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother who is survived by her beloved grands and greats – Keith (Dina & Julian), Deryck (Mae, Lola, Lance & Joey), Sondra and Alex, plus her own children – Terry (Kerry), Glenn (Jean), and Darlene (Ray).
She will be remembered forever for her love of Curling and golfing, her career as School Secretary … sewing, painting, love of family, fantastic meals, and an excellent sense of humor … oh, and those great weekend times with her husband – garaging, antique collecting, and weekly trips to Casinos (both home and away).
She is predeceased by her parents – Martin & Hannah, her sisters Mary (Amos) and Anne (Wilbert), and by her own husband – Nick.
