It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Salvatore at Extendicare -Bayview on Tuesday, August 6, 2019 after a short battle with cancer, at the age of 91.
He is survived by his son Anthony (Tony) and wife Margaret. Loving grandfather of Philip, Victor, and Sarah (James). He leaves behind Nella di Stefano (common law wife) as well as his sister Giuseppina (Sicily). He will be greatly missed but fondly remembered by family and friends for his love of vegetable gardening.
Visitation at PAUL O’CONNOR FUNERAL HOME, 1939 Lawrence Ave.E (between Pharmacy and Warden) on Friday, August 9, 2019, from 2-4 & 6-9 PM. Funeral service in our Chapel on Saturday morning at 11 AM. Entombment Highland Memory Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
