WORKMAN, Helga,
Went home to be with the Lord on August 13, 2019. Late of Maple Ridge, B.C., age 82 years.
Predeceased by her husband Richard (DIck). Survived by her loving family, daughter Carol (Rich) Croin, son Randy (Charlene), 2 grandsons, Scott and Mitch.
Mom immigrated to Canada in 1958. Met and married Dad within 6 weeks of their meeting and were together for 58 years until his passing October 22, 2018. She was a long time church member of Maple Ridge Baptist Church and in the choir since day one.
Her passions were gardening, cooking, sewing, reading, and praying for others.
She will be greatly missed by her Seniors Centre crafting group.
A Memorial Service will be held Tuesday, August 20th at 2:00 PM at Maple Ridge Funeral Chapel (Osborn’s), 11969-216th Street.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or BC Heart and Stroke Foundation, would be appreciated.
