On Saturday August 3, surrounded by those who love him, in a room filled with love, laugher and stories, Dad passed away peacefully.
Harold is survived by Wilma, his wife of 50 years; daughters Angella (Rick) and Shannon (Kris); his sister Rosalind (Alvin) Wiebe; sister-in-law Erna Fuchs; brother-in-law Vern (Nancy) Schmidt; sister-in-law Irene Skjaerlund, and “grandson” Gord (Jenna) Church; and his son he never had, Vern (Tamara) Harrison. Harold had many nieces, nephews, and many friends. Dad loved all of our dogs, Winston and Eli and his special girl Coco, his very best friend.
Harold was predeceased by his parents August and Dorathea, sister Matilda (Henry) Krahn, and brother Ed Fuchs.
Memorial Service will be held on Friday, August 9, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at Neil Bardal Funeral Centre, 3030 Notre Dame Avenue, Winnipeg, (across from Brookside Cemetery).
