Gregory Patrick Webber aged 70 years passed away on Tuesday, August 20, 2019. Gregory was predeceased by his parents Patrick and Monica Webber; mother-in-law Isabel Layman; father-in-law Dawson Burry; brother and sister-in-law Bill and Isabel Sampson; stepmother Ethel and stepbrother Gary Whelan.
Leaving to mourn loving wife of almost 50 years Sandra Webber; three children who were his life daughter Monica (Jamey); two sons: Greg Jr. and Shawn (Rhonda); five precious grandkids who he adored: Griffin; Ryleigh; Grant; Nathan and Keira; brother Tony and family; step sisters: Patricia, Maureen, Theresa, Geraldine and stepbrother Ron. As well as numerous nieces and nephews and special friend for thirty plus years Leonard Gomes. Lots of fond memories over the past 60 years at the cabin in Placentia Junction, especially with the Junction Boys (nephew Wally and his father Bill Sampson). Greg was a dedicated and proud employee of Public Works and Government Services Canada, and even prouder of the lifelong friendships and accomplishments he had in his softball career.
Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home, 84 LeMarchant Road. Visitation on Friday, August 23, 2019 from 11 a.m. – 9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at The Basilica of St. John the Baptist on Saturday, August 24, 2019 at 12 noon. Cremation to follow. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations can be made to the Diabetes Association.
