Grace Joyce McDonald (Carson) passed away peacefully at Wildwood Care Centre, St. Marys, on August 6, 2019 at the age of 96.
Beloved wife of the late James Alexander “Alex” McDonald (2005) whom she farmed with in Blanshard Township. Mother of Sandy McDonald. Sister of Gertrude McGuffin of Toronto, Margaret McGeorge of Lansing Michigan, and predeceased by her sister Betty Hudson. Beloved cousins Anne and Les Peer and remembered by extended family members.
Joyce was a dedicated member of the North Nissouri UCW and Chancel Guild in St. Thomas Anglican Church, Granton.
Family and friends are invited to the Andrew L. Hodges Funeral Home, 47 Wellington St. S. St. Marys (519-284-2820) on Friday, August 9, 2019 for visiting from 1 pm until the time of the Funeral Service at 2 p.m. with Rev. Sandra Bendall officiating. Interment in North Nissouri Cemetery. Reception at North North Nissouri Church following.
Memorial donations may be made to Wildwood Care Centre “Golden Years” or North Nissouri Cemetery.
