The family announces with sorrow her death in Sturgeon Falls, Friday August 16th 2019 at the age of 81 years. Daughter of the late Léo Lacourcière and of the late Maire-Jean (née Lamarche) Lacourcière. Wife of the late Claude Durocher. Beloved mother of Luc and Ginette. Sister of Germaine Charles (feu Ernest) of Sturgeon Falls, Anita Lacourcière of Ottawa and Marie-Berthe Leblanc (feu Lucien) of Cache Bay. Predeceased by her siblings Eddy Lacourcière (feu Florence, Rita of Windsor), Lucien Lacourcière (feu Estaire), Jean Lacourcière (Georgette of Detroit), Hermèse Lacourcière (feu Alice), Laurette Garber (feu Reg), Monseigneur Eugène Lacourcière and Raymond Lacourcière (feu Donna Cavenor). The family will receive friends on Saturday, August 24th 2019 after 12h30 at the Théorêt-Bourgeois Funeral Home, Sturgeon Falls, followed by a chapel service at 1h30. Donations to the Alzheimer’s Society would be appreciated.
