Gerhard passed away suddenly at the age of 88, Tuesday, August 13, 2019, with his family by his side.
Gerhard will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Hildegard and his children, Karola (Tim), Sylvia (Rick); his grandchildren, Bryon (Lindsay), Nicholas (Brandie), Jerrit (Niki), Jenna; his great-grandchildren, Mya, Ava, Landon, Blake, Chase, Steven and Michael; also by many good friends and special neighbours.
Gerhard was predeceased by his first wife, Edeltraud in 1992.
A Funeral Service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, August 23, 2019 at St. John Lutheran Church, 10759 96 Street, Edmonton with visitation beginning at 11:00 a.m.
Interment will follow at South Haven Cemetery, 5004 Meridian St, Edmonton.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of choice.
