Gerard Ranald MacDonald
November 15, 1962 – August 16, 2019
Gerry passed away accidentally doing what he loved best, being at one with nature and spending time with his family. He leaves behind his adoring wife, soulmate and best friend Hali MacDonald. Survived by his dear mother Louisette Marleau (Gerald) and predeceased by his father Ranald MacDonald (Julia). Loving father of Kim MacDonald (Jonathan) and Kurt MacDonald (Camilla) and his adored grandchildren Logan and Ellie. Gerry will be dearly missed by his siblings Larry MacDonald (Francine), Elizabeth MacDonald (Jason) and Abraham Day (Crystal). Gerry will be missed by his mother-in-law Debby McNamara (Mario), father-in-law Bernie Ethier (Janyce), sister-in-law Kayla Bigney (Ryan), Jana Norman (Paul) and brothers-in-law Steve Ethier (Nancy) and Neil Barlow. He was Uncle Gerry to Cindy, Jessica, Jordan, Ashley, Dylan, Kadence, Kian, Tiffany, Tayler, Bella, Eva and Tahlia. Gerry will be missed by many aunts, uncles and cousins. Please join us to say our goodbyes to Gerry on Friday August 23, 2019 from 1-5 pm and 7-9 pm at the Winchester Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry, 472 Main Street, Winchester. Funeral Service in the Chapel at 11am Saturday August 24, 2019. A special thank you to all first responders. In lieu of flowers a donation in Gerry’s memory to the Arms of Jesus Child Mission or CHEO is appreciated.
