Edmund English Calder
1949-2019
It is with great sadness that the family of Edmund English
Calder announce his sudden death on August 18, 2019 at the Dr. Everett
Chalmers Hospital due to complications of liver disease. Born on April
3, 1949, he was the son of the late Emerson and Louise (English)
Calder.
Survived by his loving wife, Doreen Ann (Young) Calder;
cousins, Natalie Harris (Morris), Heather English, Burt Anthony,
Barbara Leavitt (Preston), Rosalind Leavitt and Jay Andrews
(Margaret); brother-in-law, Raymond Young (Cindy); sisters-in-law,
Barbara Belyea (Emery), June Fillmore (Bruce) and Bonnie Young;
mother-in-law, Jeanette Young; as well as several nieces, nephews,
great nieces, great nephews and extended family
members.
In addition to his parents, Edmund is predeceased by cousins,
Rebecca Anthony, David English, John and James Andrews; father-in-law,
Manford Young; as well as a brother-in-law, Gordon
Young.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 21, 2019 at
Oromocto Funeral Home from 1 -3 pm. A Memorial Service will
immediately follow at 3pm in the Oromocto Funeral Home Chapel, with
Ven. John Sharpe officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be
made to the Canadian Liver Foundation or a charity of the
donor’s choice.
