Barnier, Dorothy Marie (nee Couture)
Dorothy passed away peacefully at The Village of Glendale Crossing, London, ON, on Sunday, August 18, 2019 at the age of 88.
Dorothy was born in Chatham, ON, on June 9, 1931 and was the daughter of the late Seville and Edna (nee Lucier) Couture.
Beloved wife of the late Leonard Barnier (1985) and special companion of the late Norm Peckham.
Loving mother of Brian Barnier of Pain Court, Deborah and Bob Smith of London and Pamela Barnier and Murray Martin of Haliburton.
Sadly missed by grandchildren, Jennifer (Mike) Rabideau, Amanda Barnier (Ken Chew), Damien (Ashley) Barnier, Nathan Smith, Nik (Natalie) Smith and great grandmother of Josh & Riley Rabideau, Xavier Chew, Seth & Griffin Barnier, Cassius & Nyah Smith and Annabelle & Miles Smith.
Dear sister of the late Mabel Poissant, Jean Goudreau and Dolores and Dale Wilder all of Chatham.
Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews.
Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
Donations in memory of Dorothy to the Alzheimer Society Canada or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
