Obituary of Donna Marie DePelsmaeker
DePelsmaeker; Donna a resident of Ridgetown and formerly of Bothwell, passed away peacefully on Friday, August 16, 2019 surrounded by her family at the Village on the Ridge at the age of 89. Daughter of the late Bill & Adeline (Osier) Schuchard. Beloved wife of the late Frank DePelsmaeker (1997). Cherished mother to Rick DePelsmaeker (Cheri), Gerri Mahovlich (Joe), Terry Holmes (Darcie), Chris Parker (John), Fran Downie (Ron), Dave DePelsmaeker, Vicki Benjamin. Loving grandmother to Carrie (Kemar), Lisa (Jeff), Mike, Adam (Jenn), Dan (Michelle), Stephanie, Eric (Brittany), Jackie (Austin), Nicki (Brad), Corey (Roberta), Jason (Jamy), Lindsie, Megan, Shannon, and great-grandmother to 17. Survived by siblings James Schuchard, Jack Schuchard, Eileen Locke, brothers-in-law Joe DePelsmaeker, and Richard DePelsmaeker. Predeceased by sons Gerald DePelsmaeker (1954), Robert DePelsmaeker (1954), Don DePelsmaeker (1981), grandson Derek DePelsmaeker (1999), great-grandson Carter Holmes (2017), siblings Joanne Holmes, Richard Schuchard, Marilyn June, Shirley Marks, Robert Schuchard, Don Schuchard, and Thelma Ryan. The DePelsmaeker Family will receive friends at the Badder & Robinson Funeral Home, 211 Elm Street, Bothwell on Monday from 6:00-9:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will be celebrated in the chapel on Tuesday, August 20, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow at St. Ignatius Cemetery, Bothwell. Those wishing to leave an expression of sympathy are asked to consider by cheque the Parkinsons Canada or the Village on the Ridge Residence Council.
