Mrs. Donna Blonde
At the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance on Wednesday August 28th, 2019, Mrs. Donna Blonde of Chatham in her 90th year. Cherished daughter of the late Jim and Hazel Ball. Beloved wife of the late Leigh Blonde (2011) and the late Ivan Northcott (1973). Loving mother of Judy Gelinas and her husband Dan of Sarnia, Cathy Bathurst and her husband Bob of South Lyon, Michigan, and Joyce O’Neil and her husband Pat of Dresden, and loving step-mother of Tracey Henry and her husband Murray of Chatham, Perry Blonde and his wife Debbie of Chatham, Gloria Blonde and Greg of Australia, Susan Johnson of Hamilton, Louise Clark (the late Ed) of Chatham, and Peter Blonde and his wife Gail of Chatham. Dear sister of Elaine Ross and her husband Dick, and sister in laws of Theresa Ball, Yvonne Ball, Ruth Ball, Marg Ball, Doris Northcott, Nelly Northcott, Doris Anderson and Kay Pickard and her husband Allan, and brother in laws Eldred Northcott and his wife Bonnie and Kurt Merilees. She will be lovingly remembered by her many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Predeceased by her stepdaughter Nancy Blonde, sisters Jean Willson and Margorie Skipper, brothers Murray, Bill, Lyle and Jay Ball, and sister in laws and brother in laws Nancy Northcott, Lyle Northcott, Gladys (Donald) Graham, Shirley (Lorne) Anderson, Allan Northcott, Donald Anderson, and Melba Merilees. Family and friends are invited to the Alexander & Houle Funeral Home, 245 Wellington St. West Chatham, 519 352- 2710, on Friday August 30th, 2019 with visiting from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm. The funeral service will be held in the chapel of the funeral home on Saturday August 31st at 11am with Pastor Mark Aarssen of New St. Andrew’s officiating.
