It is with great sadness the Eby family announces the peaceful passing of Diane Patricia Eby, on Tuesday, August 13, 2019, at the age of 76 years. She succumbed to a brief illness of the lungs at the St. Boniface Hospital. Diane will be missed by her husband Peter; son Robert and wife Heather; daughter Charla and spouse Scott; grandchildren, Alyssa, Haleigh, Blythe; and niece and nephew, Tracy and Brent. Diane was predeceased by her sister Linda, and parents, Leslie and Muriel Croft. She was surrounded by family in her final hours and able to engage in conversation to pass on many wishes and make plans.
Diane grew up in River Heights and attended Kelvin High School where she met her husband Peter at the age of 16. They were married for 58 years and were fortunate enough to have travelled the world together. Diane was an avid curler for over 35 years and loved her time with friends at the Fort Garry, Heather, Wildwood, and Granite Curling Clubs. She enjoyed spending her summers at Lake of the Woods with family and friends. She was very proud of her three grandchildren and their accomplishments.
Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life will be held at a future date to be announced.
