David Thomas Breen

DAVID BREEN
1965 – 2019
It is with great sadness that the family of the late David Breen announce his passing at his residence in Grand Falls-Windsor, NL on August 19, 2019 at the age of 54. Dave was a longtime employee of TRA Atlantic. He is predeceased by his parents, John and Margaret Breen, brother, Tony Breen, and infant sister, Mary. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are his brothers, Randy (Diane) of Gander, NL, Mike (Anne) of Norris Arm, NL, Jim of St. John’s, NL, Rob of Red Deer, AB, and Paul (Kelly) of Grand Falls-Windsor, NL, and sisters, Peggy of Victoria, BC, Cathy of Fort McMurray, AB, and Christine (Shawn) of Grand Falls-Windsor, NL. Also leaving to mourn are lots of nieces and nephews.
Our hearts are broken by the sudden death of our brother Dave. He will be missed by so many. Dave worked for many years at TRA Atlantic. The people there were his family as well. He began his TRA career as a helper on a truck. His work ethic there was evident. They hired him to work in the warehouse after the first TRA building burned down. He had been a dedicated employee ever since.
Dave loved a good game of cards and pool and was a regular at a few local bars. He was such a fun person to be around. There was always a joke to be told or a comment to be made that would make you laugh. He was always up for a good time. Dave was a kind and gentle soul and he will forever be in our hearts.
We will be having a celebration of Dave’s life at the Elk’s Club at 17 Beaumont Avenue in Grand Falls-Windsor on Saturday, August 31, from 2-4 p.m.
