Obituary for
Danny Glass
GLASS, DANNY (1949-2019) With great sorrow the family announces the passing of Danny Glass of Kenogamissi Lake on Sunday, August 11, 2019. Son of Carl and Elsie Glass (pre deceased) of North Bay. Survived by his wife Beverly, his son Jake (Tricia), his cherished granddaughter Teegan, his sister Carol Ann (John) and his countless nieces and nephews and other family members. Also his extended Hydro family and everyone on the lake where he was truly at home for fifty years. He passed peacefully in his sleep, and while the timing is all too sudden, it is exactly how he would have wanted it. He loved hunting and fishing but mostly he loved hosting and feeding people. Known originally as the “Mad Trapper” he eventually graduated to “Mayor of the Lake”. He will be missed, and while there is a hole in our hearts we know his spirit will be wandering the lake for many years to come. May the sun always shine on Kenogamissi. As per his wishes, cremation has taken place. The family invites friends to join them to share stories, laugh and remember Dan’s life as he would have wanted during a memorial reception with light fare to be held from 2-5 pm. on Friday, August 16, 2019 in the MIRON-WILSON FUNERAL HOME RECEPTION LOUNGE. Remembrance donations to the Yo-Mobile or Timmins & District Hospital Foundation would be appreciated. Arrangements in care of
