Obituary of Catherine Gertrude Patchett
Known simply as ‘Mom’, Catherine and her beloved husband Ronald Patchett opened their home on Boag Road in Queensville to many children over the decades, even adopting four to form her own family. With so many young lives in her life, she was naturally involved in several youth organization such as the ‘Brownies’, Girl Guides, 4H Club to name but a few. Catherine died peacefully at Southlake Regional Health Centre in Newmarket on Tuesday, August 20, 2019 at the age of 84 years. Loving mother of Stephen of Keswick, Andrew (Heidi) of Queensville, Nancy of Barrie and Dawn of Newmarket. Cherished grandmother of Stephen, Jamie, Gerald (Maureen), Tyler, Brittany, Tricia, Nathan, Kyle and four great-grandchildren. Dear sister of Josephine “Jo” McNeill of Toronto, John Rowley (Anne) of Scotland, Gerald Rowley and Ronald Rowley both of South Africa. The family will receive friends at the M.W. Becker Funeral Home, 490 The Queensway South, Keswick on Monday, August 26, 2019 from 2-4 p.m. & 6-8 p.m. Funeral Tuesday August 27, 2019 at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church, 129 Metro Road North, Keswick for Mass at 10:30 a.m. Interment to follow at Keswick Cemetery.
