Carol B. Votour (80) of K. E. Spencer
Memorial Home and formerly of Aucoin St., Dieppe, passed away
peacefully at The Moncton Hospital on Saturday, August 3,
2019.
Born in Silvertown, she was the
daughter of the late Arthur and Edith (Bunnell) Symes.
Carol was retired from Dominion Stores
at the K-Mart Plaza. She enjoyed sewing, knitting, quilting, reading
and music – especially Gospel music.
Carol will be sadly missed by her
sons, Jerry Fenton (Dawn) of Riverview, Richard “Rick”
Votour (Beth) of Fredericton and Robert “Bob” Votour (Judy)
of Ottawa, ON; grandchildren, Robert, Megan and Travis Votour and
Tyler Fenton; great grandchildren, Jace, Brantley and Emma; sister,
Laura Regimbal (Richard) of Moncton; brother, Rev. Cecil Symes
(Shirley) of Rexton; brother-in-law, Allan Hunter of St. Stephen;
sister-in-law Patricia Symes of Ontario as well as several
nieces, nephews and extended family members.
In addition to her parents, she was
predeceased by her husbands, Morley Fenton (1957) and Edward Votour
(1982); brothers, Earl, Wayne and; sisters, Olive, Phyllis and
Linda.
In honoring Carol’s wishes,
there will be no visitation hours.
A service for Carol will be held at
2:00 PM on Wednesday August 7th at the Saint
James Presbyterian Church in Beersville N.B. Interment will follow
immediately afterword at the Emerson Road Cemetery.
