Ruth was born August 19, 1927 in Gallivan, SK and went to be with the Lord August 4, 2019. She is survived by her loving family; her son Erland Carlson, and her sisters Edie Adamson and Adeline McDowell. She was sadly predeceased by her son Ron in 1994 and her husband Ole in 1995.
An opportunity to pay your respects and visit with the family will be held on Thursday, August 8, 2019 from 7:00 – 8:00 pm at the Springfield Funeral Home, 2020 Springfield Road, Kelowna, BC. She will be laid to rest at a private family service followed by a celebration of her life that will be held on Friday, August 9, 2019, at 2:00 pm at Winfield Community Church, 9460 Glenmore Rd. Lake Country, BC. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, www.cancer.ca.
