Peacefully, in hospital after a lengthy illness on Tuesday, August 6, 2019 at the age of 65 years. Beloved wife of Glen. Dear mother of Jaime and Shawna. Daughter of the late Antonius and Elisabeth Van Zandvoort and sister of Ted (Marion), Hans (Liz), and Henri (Bob). Special thanks to those who provided care for Carla throughout her illness. Friends may attend a memorial reception at the Garden Chapel of Tubman Funeral Homes, 3440 Richmond Rd., Nepean, (between Bayshore and Baseline Rd.) on Tuesday, August 13, 2019 from 11:30 A.M. to 1:30 P.M. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Royal Ottawa Foundation for Mental Health would be appreciated.
