Black, Carl Douglas – It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Carl Douglas Black, age 59 of Wentworth, on Thursday August 22, 2019 at Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Truro. Carl was born October 31, 1959 in Tatamagouche, N.S., the son of Delia (Langille) Black, New Annan and the late David Black. He is survived by his daughter, Rachel (Larry) Oickle of Bridgewater; granddaughter, Bailey; brother, Gordon (Linda) Black of New Annan; nephews, Darryl (Heather) Black of Truro and David (Nicole) Black of New Annan, as well as several grand nieces and nephews. Carl worked for Dexter’s Construction for over 28 years. Carl enjoyed driving anything with a motor. He enjoyed four-wheeling, snowmobiling, and spending time with family and friends who he loved dearly. He was a member of the Wentworth Fire Department and enjoyed being a part of his community. He will be missed by so many. words cannot express the loss felt. A time to gather and celebrate Carl’s life will be held from 2-4 p.m. Monday August 26th in the Wentworth Recreation Centre 13736 Hwy. 4, Wentworth, N.S. Interment will be at later date. Family flowers only. donations can be made to the Wentworth Fire Department or charity of one’s choice. Arrangements have been entrusted to Coulter’s Funeral Home (902-657-3288), Tatamagouche.
