Obituary of Berdena Anna May Keller
KELLER, Berdena Anna May (nee Ashe) of Stirling, passed at QHC-Belleville General Hospital, on Wednesday, August 14th, 2019, at the age of 83. Survived by her companion Allan Joseph Brown. Predeceased by her husband Karl Burton Keller. Daughter of the late William & Irene Ashe. Beloved mother of Leo (Christine), Larry (Helen), Lenore Quinlan, late Leverne Keller (surviving wife Mary), Iva (Fazil), Judy Boldrick (Ted) and Kenny (Yvonne).Remembered by her grandchildren; Robert (Mandy), Corey-Lynne Brook (Jamie), Bradley Sedore (Alyssa), Mitchell, Matthew, Jeremy Quinlan, Samantha Nuttal (Julien) (Quinlan), Christina Cole, Devin (Lindsay), Ryan, Angie, Jason Boldrick, Johnathon Boldrick, Sarah, Nicole Keller-Bailey (Curtis) and 11 great grandchildren. Predeceased by grandchild Ian Quinlan. Predeceased by all her siblings; William Ashe, Bernice Wilkinson, Bruce Ashe, Bob Ashe, Bernard Ashe, Jewell Asselstine and Yyonne Quinlan.If Berdena could live her life over again, she would not change much she had 7 great children that she was very proud of. Her hobbies were knitting, crocheting and sewing. Extremely talented women. She wants to be remembered for her Christmas pudding with the brown sugar sauce (yummy) and the socks she knit. Her career encompassed being a mother, floor supervisor at Godfrey Growers, demonstrator in grocery stores (always sold out what she demonstrated), owned her own yarn store and ran a small income tax business up to this year, as well as working for Pensioners Concern preparing income tax. Thank you to the nurses on BGH Quinte 4th Floor. The nurses enjoyed mom antics and shared many stories with us. They were amazing with mom during her stay at the hospital. Thank you to all her home workers, especially Debbie and Iris, they were her lifeline and kept her going. Thank you for all the enquires by family and friends thinking of us through this difficult time. Mom is at peace now and partying with her family in heaven. They will be sharing may laughs and stories. Raise your glasses and say cheers. Cremation has already taken place. No service will be held as per the wishes of Berdena Keller. A Celebration of her life, may be held at a later date. If desired, Berdena wished donations be made to the Belleville General Hospital Foundation or Canadian Diabetes Association or the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
