Obituary of Arne Boye Hansen
After battling cancer for four years, Arne Boye Hansen of Vancouver passed away peacefully at Vancouver General Hospital’s Palliative Care unit, surrounded by family and friends on July 28, 2019. He was born to Aase and Frede Hansen on May 2, 1951, in Copenhagen, Denmark. The family emigrated to Canada in 1957 and settled in Ontario where Arne grew up and became a journalist before moving out west to British Columbia.
