Ann Farmer
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Anna Geraldine Farmer (Cameron) Saturday August 17, 2019. She died peacefully, at Stoneridge Manor with her family by her side. Born in Cardinal Ontario, Ann married and raised a family while working at the Canada Starch Company. She led an active life in the community surrounded by good friends. Ann loved socializing and will be remembered by her fun spirit and love of laughter. Later in life she moved to Iroquois Ontario and developed many more special friendships and remained close to her family and grandchildren. Ann was the daughter of the late Wilfred and Harriette Cameron (McIntyre). She was predeceased by husband Reg Farmer, sister Charlotte Cameron and brother Beverly Cameron. She is survived by her close sister Margaret Cameron of Toronto. Ann was the loving mother of Jim Daw (Susan), Kathryn Thivierge(Derek), Nancy Cameron(Tamara) and the late Ron Daw(Sharron). She will be sadly missed by grandchildren Beth, Marsha, Robin, Heather, Andy, Jordanna, Justine, Kristin and Nick. Also by her great grandchildren Summer, Jesse, Jake, Lucas, Carsen, Alexandra, Lucas, Jayla and Jameson.
Funeral Arrangements
At Ann’s request there will be no funeral service. Arrangements entrusted to the Marsden McLaughlin Funeral Home in Iroquois Ontario. Online condolences may be made at marsdenmclaughlin.com. A Celebration of Ann’s life will take place on Sunday September 29, 2019 at the Iroquois Royal Canadian Legion from 1 to 4pm.
