Alfred’s Obituary
Bezanson, Alfred John ~ Age 75 of Wilmot, NS passed away peacefully on August 25th in Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital, Middleton. Born in East Dalhousie on April 15th, 1944, son of the late Ralph and Alma (Veinotte) Bezanson. At age 15 he came to the Annapolis Valley with his father and worked at Kingston Lumber. He was employed in forestry most of his life and when he retired he did woodworking even making his own cremation urn.
Predeceased by his mother and father; brother, Harold; sisters, Amy and Pearl. He is survived by common-law wife, Phyllis (Chase) Foster; sister, Doris Arenburg, Kingston; brothers, Lawson (Mary), Windsor; Vance (Janet) Greenwood; Joey (Sandy) Greenwood; special brother-in-law, Perry Joudrey (Kingston). Special thanks to best friend Max Milbury and all the friends who visited Alfred in the garage.
In keeping with Alfred’s wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation or memorial service. Donations in memory may be made to VON Annapolis Valley Branch or Carey Me Fund – Supporting Palliative Care in the Home.
