Obituary Overview
Forever In Our Hearts
Alexander Neil Taylor passed away peacefully in his sleep at Pioneer Nursing Home on August 10, 2019 at the age of 88 years.
He was predeceased by his father and mother Alexander and Ruby Taylor.
He is survived by his wife of 62 years Pauline; four children Carol (Allan), Barry (Janice), Blake (Caralee) and Todd; and many grandchildren and great grandchildren. In Neil’s early life he operated a Ford dealership with his father. He loved the car business.
He taught Motor Mechanics at Thom Collegiate High School for 30 years. He had great respect for his students and his students had great respect for him. Neil retired in 1992 and spent his retirement time at the cottage on Long Lake.
He enjoyed boating and fishing taking the children for boat rides. He had a passion for his Camaros and won prizes for his 1968 Camaro RS/SS. He loved the air boat he built as well.
Sincere thanks to Dr. Warden and the staff at Pioneer Nursing Home for the kindness they have shown him. They gave him a more pleasant life while he spent his time there until his final days.
At Neil’s request no public service will be held.
In lieu of flowers donations in memory of Neil may be made to the Regina Humane Society, PO Box 3143, Regina, SK S4P 3G7.
