Mei Kuen Mah, age 95, from Toishan, China passed away peacefully at 11:45 PM on August 2, 2019 at her residence St. John’s, NL surrounded by her adoring family.
She is survived by her five children, eldest daughter Wing Moon Yee (Yick Yee), eldest son Dick Mah (Annie So Ching Lee), daughter Shui-Tong Wong (Yuen-Wai Wong), youngest son James Mah (Jane Mah), youngest daughter Fannie Hong (James Hong); survived by her twelve grandchildren, eldest grandson Sang (Jason) Yee (Dilys Yee), Peter Kuo-Yee Wong (Jing Luo), Ton Yee, Teresa Lillian Wong, Cynthia Yuk Ming Mah, Richard Yuk Wah Mah, Jennifer Vanessa Siba (Ryan Siba), Bonnie Yuk Kay Mah, Christopher James Mah (Laura Mah), Michael James Hong, David Joseph Hong, and youngest grandson Kevin William Hong; also survived by her seven great-grandchildren, eldest great-grandson Jesse Yee, Caitlyn Yee, Devon Tian-Ze Wong, Alexander Tian-Cheng Wong, Brielle Francis Siba, Camden James Siba, and youngest great-grandson Bryson Bryggs Siba.
Thank you to Dr. Amy Tong, Dr. Susan Marie MacDonald, and RN April Adams for keeping her comfortable through this part of her journey.
Visitation will be from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and then 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Sunday, August 4, 2019 at Carnell’s Funeral Home (Freshwater Road).
Funeral procession to begin at 11:45 a.m. on Monday, August 5, 2019 from Carnell’s Funeral Home towards Mount Pleasant Cemetery for the 12:00 p.m. graveside service.
