BOUDREAU, Norman – Age 76, of Concession, passed away peacefully at home on Friday, August 2, 2019. Born in Concession, he was a son of the late Charles and Catherine (Dugas) Boudreau. After a career working as an insulator for Guildfords Ltd. based out of Dartmouth, Norman retired back home to Concession, Digby County, which he affectionately called God’s Country, where he pursued his hobbies of gardening, logging, card playing and travelling. He is survived by son, Paul (Angela), Truro; daughter, Yvette Boudreau (Mike), Ottawa; grandchildren, Mackenzie, Ainsley, Owen, Peyton and Taylor; common-law wife, Carol Gaudet; brothers, Gerald, André and Wilfred (Louise); sister, Anna Pellerin. He was predeceased by his wife, Marie; brother, Phillip; sister, Irene Lombard. Cremation has taken place and visitation will be Thursday, August 8, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. in Meteghan Funeral Home. Funeral mass will be held Friday at 2 p.m. in Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, Concession, with Rev. Albeni d’Entremont officiating. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery. No flowers by request. Donations may be made to Tri County VON.
