Passed peacefully surrounded by family at Sunrise (senior living) of Erin Mills on Friday, August 2, 2019 at the age of 94. Predeceased by her beloved husband, Les. Wonderful mother of Linda (Bruce) Bridgehouse, Barbara (Paul Treitz) Bridgehouse and Jacquie (Winslow Davis) Bridgehouse. Dear grandmother of seven (7): Emily, Josh, Alisha, Rachel, Nicole, Kristin and Danielle. Shirley enjoyed her life to the fullest as a devoted daughter, friend, IODE Hamilton Chapter charity/sorority member, kindergarten teacher, wife, mother, and grandmother. Shirley and her family would like to thank the executive director and the entire staff of Sunrise of Erin Mills for their wonderful care and kindness.
At Shirley’s request cremation has taken place A private service will be held. If desired, in lieu of flowers, donations would be appreciated to Parkinson Canada or the Canadian Cancer Society.
