Ernest John Brotherwood

May 4, 1946 – August 27, 2019
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of ERNEST JOHN BROTHERWOOD, beloved husband of Trena Grace Brotherwood, of Lethbridge on Tuesday, August 27, 2019 at the age of 73 years after a long, courageous battle with cancer.
Ernie worked in the concrete industry from a very young age doing different jobs but excelled at operating the Concrete Pump Truck. He enjoyed camping, fishing while enjoying a drink, and laughing about the good old days with family, friends and co-workers.
He will be lovingly remembered by his wife and soulmate Trena of 46 years, his two sons; Kelly (Traci) and Tex (Julie). He is also survived by a brother; Herb (Heather), sisters; Norma (Gerald Todd), Madge, Anna (Dave Williams), brothers-in-law; Bill (Cheryl) and Fred (Carol), as well as numerous nephews, nieces and grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his son Troy, and his parents; John and Jean Brotherwood.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, September 7, 2019 from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. at Christensen Salmon Generations Funeral Home, 703 – 13 Street North, Lethbridge.
Flowers are gratefully declined. Memorial donations may be made to the Jack Ady Cancer Clinic, 960 – 19 Street South, Lethbridge, AB T1J 1W5.
