BUEMI, Salvatore ‘Sam’ – Passed away peacefully at Eventide Home, after a life well lived, surrounded by his loving family, on Monday August 19, 2019 at the age of 95. Beloved husband of the late Rose (nee Bretti) (2009) and cherished father of Elizabeth ‘Betty’ (Ort) Baldauf, Ann Louise (Marty) Yamich and John (Myrna) Buemi. Loving Grandfather of Karl, Brandon (Stephanie), Nicholas (Sonya), Rebecca and Cristal (David). He will be fondly remembered by his nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his sister Carmel (the late Earl) Landry and brother Joe Lombardi. Mr. Buemi was a Manager of Warehousing and Traffic for Gerber’s Baby Foods, retiring after 40 years of service. He later served a term on the board of the Niagara Parks Commission. He was also a lifetime member of St. Ann’s Church and was an honourary member of the Hamilton Transportation Club for over 40 years. Friends are invited to call at the PATTERSON FUNERAL HOME, 6062 Main St. Niagara Falls, visiting Wednesday August 21st from 4 to 8 pm. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Thursday at 11 am at St. Ann’s Church, with the Rite of Entombment to follow at Fairview Mausoleum.
