Mary G. Brennan
1931 – 2019
The passing of Mary G. Brennan (Burns) of Fredericton, NB occurred on Sunday August 4, 2019 at her summer home in Lower Queensbury, NB. She was born in Doaktown, NB on April 15, 1931 and was the daughter of the late Herman and the late Martha Burns she was the wife of the late Joseph Leo Brennan.
Mary is survived by daughters, Dorothy Wentworth (Doug), Marie Dumas (Yvan), Carolyn Hetherington (Blake), Wanda Brown (Greg), Marilyn Brennan, Heather Holland (Chris). Son, Joey Brennan (Wanda). Son in law, Ray Chartrand, Grandchildren, Vincent (Pat) Caverhill (Yvonne), Nancy Dumas (Ernie), Danny Dumas (Tina), Sara MacNeill (Jeremy), Alex Brown (Jaycee), Jason Brennan (Kate), Samantha Hill (Chuck), Scott Brown (Prae), Kelsey Brennan (Jake), Olivia Brennan, Jake Brennan. Great Grandchildren, Desiree Dumas, Christopher Dumas, Lilly MacNeill, Jessica Brideau, Maggie Caverhill, Navy Hill, Rush Hill, Chaz Hill, Arlo Hill, Levi Parlee, Great Great Grandchild, Logan Dumas. Brothers, Melvin Burns and Tennyson Storey (Elizabeth). Sister in laws, Lillian Brennan, Patsy Sutherland. Brother in law, Ed Brennan.
Mary is predeceased by her husband, and daughters, Josephine Brennan (1968), Gladys Brennan (1969) and Debbie Chartrand (2019). Sister, Janie Palmer (2001), Brothers Crumley Burns (2001) and Johnny Hatfield (2003).
Mary worked at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital a seamstress before retiring after 24 years of service. She was a member of Saint Anthony’s Catholic Church. She was a avoid card player with the Tuesday morning Coffee Club at Saint Margaret’s Anglican Church. She loved camping at Heritage Family Campground for over 40 years. She also enjoyed her camping friends and playing cards with them. Mary also enjoyed playing Bingo at Branch #04 on Wednesday evenings.
Visitation will take place at Saint Anthony’s Church, 603 Union Street, Fredericton, NB on Friday August 16, 2019 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm
Funeral service will be held following the visitation at Saint Anthony’s Church, 603 Union Street, Fredericton, NB with Father Monte Peters officiating. Interment will take place following the service in Blissfield, NB.
For those who wish, memorial donations in Mary’s memory made to the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
