January 13, 1934 – August 17, 2019
Peacefully at home, surrounded by her loving family, at the age of 85 years. Predeceased by her beloved husband Antonio (2010). Loving mother of Anthony, George, Maria, Theresa and aunt to Jorge (Cristine), Justin and Nathan. Cherished avó of Andy (Anna), Jennifer (Wade), Alicia (Alex), Michael (Lara), Melissa (Jay) and visavó of Jane, Sofia and Arturo. Dear sister of the late Manuel (Leonarda), Maria (late Jose), Joe (Noemi) and Antonio (Maria Esmeralda). Maria Jose was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, full of love and support for her family. She will be sorely missed by many family and friends. Resting at FRISCOLANTI FUNERAL CHAPEL, 43 Barton Street East (near James) on Wednesday from 2 – 4 p.m. and 6 – 9 p.m. Vigil prayers at 8 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Lawrence Church on Thursday, August 22, 2019 at 10 a.m. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
