OLSON, Willis
August 25, 1933 – August 12, 2019
Willis passed away on Monday, August 12, 2019 at the age of 85. He is lovingly remembered by his wife of 62 years Ruth; daughter, Tanice; son and daughter in law Perry and Judy; grandchildren, Laura (Matt) & Warren (Lisa); and son in law, Scott Chisholm. Willis was predeceased by his daughter Tammie. Willis worked as an electrician and was a proud IBEW Local 254 member. A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, September 29, 2019 at 2:00 pm at the DeWinton Community Hall (114 Macleod Trail South, DeWinton). In lieu of flowers, memorial tributes may be made to the Alberta Lung Association, P.O. Box 4500, Stn South, Edmonton, AB T6E 6K2 or the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada, 2300 Yonge Street, Suite 1300, Toronto, ON M4P 1E4.

I am a former childhood neighbor (north of Tessier, SK) & shirttail relation of Willis (my Aunt Donalda Underhill married his brother Harold). I am ten years younger than Willis and I have not seen Willis in over 60 years but when I saw his picture, I immediately saw the face I remeber of his Dad, Walter.
As we age we tend to reminisce and I am sorry I never got to see and visit with Willis again. Please accept my belated condolences.
