Amanda’s Obituary
It is with broken hearts that the family of Amanda Dorothy White, announce her passing, at the tender age of 38, after a courageous battle with cancer. Amanda’s optimism, positive spirits, and good humor throughout her battle, inspired and awed all who knew her. Amanda had a heart of pure gold, always worrying about those she loved, more than herself. She touched the hearts of all who knew her and was truly a fighter. Amanda stated, “don’t cry for me, celebrate the life I lived.” Leaving to celebrate her life, with loving and fond memories; her husband and love of her life, Pernell White, her mother Brenda Ruth, her father Jim Ruth, her brother Chaney Ruth (Theresa), sister in laws Rita Wayson (Jack) Samantha White-Park (Dave) brother in laws Howie White (Lee-Ann), Simon White (Connie), Felix White (Ashley), Shawn White (Sam) and Shane White (Marlee). Best friends and ‘peeps’ Nancy Bindi, Glenda Hawkins, Samantha Greene, Meagan Greene, and Terri and Jason Sparkes. Her Aunts and Uncles, Judy (Randy), Langdon, Allen Sheppard, Marina (Kirk) Brake, Gary Sheppard, Guy Sheppard, Debbie (Derm) Brake, and Lori (Charley) Petten, 15 Cousins and Many Friends. Waiting for her at the pearly gates are her grandmother and Grandfather Hebert and Annie Sheppard, Chaney and Dorothy Ruth and Chaney’s Second Wife Sarah Ruth, Uncle Don Sheppard, Aunt Sherry Sheppard, Cousins Jonathan Brake and Colton Greene. As per Amanda’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Family and Friends may gather at Country Haven Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday August 14, 2019 at 1 PM from where a celebration of Amanda’s life will take place at 2 PM with reverend Kay Osmond Officiating. Interment at a later Date. As expressions of sympathy Flowers or Donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer society or ones choice will be greatly appreciated.
