Connie Radley 19262019

Connie Radley
1926-2019
The family of Constance “Connie” Radley wish to
announce that she has finally gone home after passing peacefully in
her sleep surrounded by her children on August 11, 2019 at the
Oromocto Public Hospital. Connie was the daughter of the late William
and Minnie (Prosser) Goody.
She will be sadly missed by her daughter Lesley Breau (Bob),
her son Tim Radley (Cathie); her grandchildren Christopher Taylor,
Phillip Breau, Tarrynne Radley, Keeghan Radley, Braeden Radley,
Anthony Radley, Justin Radley and Nathan Radley; her sister Gwen
Frost; her brother Phillip Goddy (Dianne); several great
grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.
In addition to her parents, Connie was predeceased by her
loving husband of over 50 years, Benjamin and her son Simon
Radley.
Born in Colchester England, Connie grew up during the Second
World War, which influenced her outlook on life. When the war ended,
she met and married Ben. They immigrated to Canada shortly after with
just three boxes and a baby in tow. With courage, strength, compassion
and faith, they raised their family. She lived every day as if it were
her last. If there is a cup of tea in heaven, that’s where
mom is.
A special thank you to Ellen Reid, Connie’s helper
and companion, for all her care and support.
At the family’s request, there will be no
visitation. A memorial service will take place on Thursday August 15,
2019 at 11:00 am at the Oromocto Baptist Church with the Rev. Dr.
Perry Hanley officiating. In lieu of flowers, those who wish may make
donations to the Oromocto Baptist Church or to the World Wildlife
Fund.
