Patterson: William “Bill”
Peacefully at Clinton Public Hospital, on Thursday August 8, 2019. Mr. Bill Patterson of Blyth in his 88th year. Beloved husband of the late June (Bolger) Patterson. Loving father of Cheryl MacLeod of Goderich, Dale & Ron Jamieson of Alberta, Deb & Casey Verwey of Auburn, Rick & Darlene Patterson of Dungannon, Heather & John Verwey of Auburn, and Audrey Patterson & Murray Thompson of Clinton. Step-father of the late Murray & Sue Bolger of Vanastra, Karen & John Greidanus of Clinton, Gary Bolger of Varna, Glenda & Brad Duff of Seaforth, Kim Bolger & Mike Davy of Hamilton. Sadly missed by 16 grandchildren, 29 Great grandchildren, 12 step grandchildren and 6 step great grandchildren. Dear brother of Shirley Wood. Predeceased by brother Ken Patterson & brother-in-law Darrell Wood. At Bill’s request, cremation has taken place. A graveside service will be held at Ball’s Cemetery, Auburn on Sunday August 18, 2019 at 11 a.m. followed by a celebration of life at the Lion’s Park Pavilion, Blyth from 1-4 p.m. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations to the Clinton Public Hospital Foundation or the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #420 Blyth.
