Marvin Melvin Prier passed away on the morning of August 6, 2019 at the age of 82. He is sadly missed and remembered with love by his wife of 58 years, Virginia (Ginny); daughter, Gail (Egan Bodell); son, Ross; 3 grandchildren, Jennifer Boyce (Logan), Daniel Bodell, and Jesse Bodell; 3 sisters, Marlene Plamondon, Jean (Dale) McKinney, and Eileen Taylor; sister-in-law, Sharon Prier; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
Marvin was predeceased by his parents, Herbert and Elsie; brother, Ron; as well as brother-in-law, Leo Plamondon.
A graveside service will take place at 11:00 am on Monday August 12, 2019 at Zion Evangelical Cemetery (22477 Highway 623) followed by a Funeral Service at 1:00 pm at Zion Evangelical Missionary Church (5058 2 St S, New Sarepta, AB).
In lieu of flowers donations in Marvin’s name may be made to Fathers House International (P.O. Box 4440, Edmonton, AB T6E 4T5), or to a charity of one’s choice.
